Hollywood Elementary School - Wushu Shaolin Entertainment

Wushu Shaolin Entertainment is proud to present a live Chinese cultural showcase during the Chinese Lunar New Year for the teachers, parents, and faculty of Oakwood Elementary School in North Hollywood, California. On behalf of the gracious Principal Margo Long a compelling presentation was delivered on Wednesday, February 18th of 2015 in association with several parents.

We sincerely appreciate the Oakwood Elementary School for inviting us to perform during this Chinese Lunar New year. Oakwood Elementary is a profound academy celebrating the joys and challenges of Childhood development on the school campus. Elementary schools like Oakwood thrive with the guidance of educators who provide interactive, hands on curriculum. It is an environment where it is safe to build strengths, as well as recognize weaknesses. Through participation in a range of activities, students learn to work together

The Chinese Cultural Showcase was a mesmerizing experience illustrating the importance and profound beauty of Dance, Martial Arts, and cultural artistry. The performance included a traditional Chinese Female ribbon dance and flag dance. The heart of the performance was the traditional Chinese Lion Dance presentation. It is our earnest mission, to inspire and educate the youth.

Art, Culture, and Education are our only hope, if we are to build a safe society filled with capable human beings. Each opportunity to educate and inspire a child is more valuable than all the money in the world. It takes but one person to stand up and change the world. Imagine if we inspire countless youth to take that leap and help build a better future. We hope that everyone will develop into courageous human beings fighting for a better world.
